This is a recorded, on-demand course.
Vaping has changed the conversations dental hygienists have with teen and adult patients. This course examines the oral manifestations associated with vaping, including changes in saliva, caries risk, periodontal health, the oral microbiome, mucosal tissues, and healing. Participants will explore how these findings connect with broader respiratory, cardiovascular, inflammatory, immune, and neurologic concerns. Emphasis will be placed on evidence-based, patient-centered communication that supports informed decision-making without fear, judgment, or lecturing.

✔️Explain the shared inflammatory, microbial, vascular, and immune pathways connecting the oral effects of vaping with potential systemic health implications.
