These courses calibrate Fellow mindsets, help determine a personal strategic plan, and ensure a common supportive culture and understanding. Courses include concepts on:

Pathways
Concepts listed under each pathway are broad learning objectives. Specific curricula are being constructed by faculty and will be presented late summer with course names and course objectives.
Education
The purpose of the Education track is to two-fold: (1) prepare dental hygienists to enter the academic setting and (2) advance current educators’ knowledge and skills in teaching adult learners in varied environments so that they can contribute to improving professional skills and advance the future of dental hygiene. Learn and/or stay relevant/current on teaching methodologies, leadership in education, and how to captivate adult learners.
New Graduates
The New Graduates track prepares new dental hygiene professionals with the toolkit to build interpersonal relationships, learn about emerging technology to improve health outcomes, how to navigate the interviewing process, team communication, and patient advocacy. All the things you didn’t learn in hygiene school. Everything we wish we would have known before. Lessons learned.
Corporate /Sales
The Corporate/Sales track prepares the dental hygienist to interface directly with consumers, clients, decision-makers, and organizations and the psychological aspects of purchasing and marketing. Courses help learners overcome objections, and help to improve sales and negotiation skills.
Entrepreneur
The Entrepreneur track will help dental hygienists bring their ideas to life and learn how to launch their business, grow their brand, and market their company online. Learn strategies for leveraging and selling through written and verbal communication.
Clinical/ Dental Hygiene Therapist
Clinical
The Clinical Track equips clinicians with critical elements to improve communication skills, integrate whole system wellness, and elevate their chairside practice and patient care. Courses will improve connection and care for your patients through motivational interviewing, available technology that will improve health outcomes, and the business side of clinical practice.
Dental Hygiene Therapist
The Dental Hygiene Therapist Track provides educational preparation to immerse your perspectives in different healthcare settings and roles as a provider. Learn how different models of care address access to care, strategies to implement change, and legislative pathways to advance the dental profession.
Leadership/Management
The Leadership/Management Track prepares you to effectively lead teams, how to manage groups, overcome conflict, and build trust.
Interprofessional Education
The Interprofessional Education Track focuses on how to work within interdisciplinary teams and what experts from around the world are doing to make an impact with the oral-systemic link and how to care for patients.
